Have you been invited to a Thanksgiving Dinner? Are you inviting guests to your house for Thanksgiving? If you answered YES to either of these then “Don’t Be A Turkey!” make sure to create memories by having a warm environment. This is achieved by exciting the senses and a most important sense is the sense of sight. Create a visual feast with fresh flowers and fall foliage. Not sure where start? Perhaps just a few simple vases scattered around the home with some fall toned mums in varying colors with a little fall leaves added. For the main event make sure to have a long low centerpiece in the center of the table – candles or no candles, it is up to you. The centerpiece should reflect the host since this centerpiece will remain with them. If it is a more elegant set up them perhaps some flowers that are more subdued than bright tones. Some bigger type flowers like hydrangea, roses, gerberas. For a more rustic or country centerpiece try maybe a piece with some winter greens, darker tone flowers and more variety of smaller flowers like mums, daisys, spray roses, berrys, carnations. A very traditional style bouquet is a cornucopia, other wise known as a horn of plenty. This design looks unique and is nice when some fresh fruit and/or berrys are added. Eat Up, Enjoy and create memories!
